This beauty is named for its feature ring, which reminds us a little of those crazy quilts, which don’t follow a pattern but connect colors in odd ways.

Woods utilized in this segmented wood vessel include bubinga, curly maple and purpleheart in the feature ring. The rest of the vessel includes black walnut, Bolivian rosewood, crotch walnut, Tasmanin blackwood, and tiger maple.

This piece has a sibling that has the same feature ring paired with different woods that would look great paired with it, kind of like a fraternal twin.
